The 13th panel of “Lifetime of Washington” will be preserved, however, covered by panels depicting “the heroism of colored parents in the United States, as we now enjoy fighting and fighting discrimination, racism, hatred and poverty. A proposal urged by the chairman said.

The council voted to eliminate the 1,600-square-meter mural at George Washington College after critics became known to be racist and offensive.
Those wishing to preserve the mural said they would try to be an ingenious historical censorship.
